YouTube App for iOS 6 Debut
It is unbelievable! While iOS 6 release is still awaited, Google hurried up and presented its YouTube app for this version of firmware.
Today Apple is about to officially present its newest iPhone that will run iOS 6. Google has decided to get ahead of time and launched its YouTube app for iOS 6 so that you can test it as soon as the next operating system is out.
About the Application
The next firmware will not have a built-in YouTube program that is why Google rolls out its standalone application. The company wished all iPod touch and iPhone owners to continue enjoying the experience of sharing video files via this portal. YouTube app for iOS 6 does not support the iPad yet, but it will surely change in the future.
According to Google, it plans to launch the iPad version of its application “in the coming months.”
For now Google just wants to be present in the next iOS since the Cupertino company said it would not have YouTube pre-installed on its new operating system for iGadgets.
YouTube App Features
There are a lot of features added to YouTube app for iOS 6. They are mostly borrowed from the online site and Android program. For example, iPhone and iPod touch users will be able to share videos via Google+, Twitter, Facebook, email and other sources.
The program has a new interface, expanded search results option, etc.
