Apple Patented Wireless Charger For iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
Have you ever tried wireless charger for iPhone or other iGadgets? I’m not but I would like to try it. I have been thinking about my iPhone 4 wireless charging after I got iDevice. It is very comfy to charge device without cords.
Apple company have recently patented wireless charging dock called Antena Insert and it allows you to charge battery without cables. Look at Apple patent for wireless charging dock below:
All you need to do is to put your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch on the charging station and wait till your battery will be charged. Forget about cords. Apple patented dock functions by inductive coupling and it is one more step towards wireless future.
However there is no items on sale yet. I think we can expect for this after iPhone 5 release date, in other words we should wait till the end of this year.
Remember that Apple has already developed iCloud and WiFi Sync for wireless exchange of information. You can transfer and store, save and copy all data of your iPhone or other iOS device. Just use this services and your life will be easier without wires. And now the turn becomes to iPhone wireless charging.
This Apple patent and wireless mobile charging in general is not something new for today. A couple of years ago PowerMat company demonstrated their wireless charger for iPhone and other devices and you can watch it in the video below:
However there is information that this charging method is not good for wireless reception for the gadget after using it. And that is the most problem with that. But Cupertino company found the way out. Apple also patented Reradiating Antenna to the charging dock which prevent this issues with wireless charger for iPhone.
Now we can only wait for this event. You can always try items from such companies as Energizer, PowerMat or Duracell charger but I wouldn’t do that because of wireless reception issues. Also it is not appropriate for iPad and iPod Touch.Tags: apple, apple news, iPad, iphone, news
