Unlock iPhone 3G [How To]

Here are the instructions on how to unlock iPhone 3G (iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS) on almost any supported iOS (except for 5.1 as this firmware has nor untethered jailbreak neither unlock for any device running this firmware). Here are the steps on how to unlock iPhone 3G (iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS) with Ultrasn0w:

Step One: After you have jailbroken your device tap on the Cydia icon on your SpringBoard.

Step Two: In Cydia press the Manage tab in the lowest right corner of the screen.

Step Three: Go to Sources and select the Ultrasn0w repo from the list. If it’s not there follow these steps:

• In the Sources tab press Add button
• Type in http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ in the box the opens and tap Add source
• Once the installing process finishes go back to Cydia Sources menu by tapping Return to Cydia button
• Push Done in the top right corner of the screen
