Save iOS 5.1.1 SHSH Blobs With TiniUmbrella 5.11.00b [How-to]
Here I want to give you a chance to save iOS 5.1.1 blobs using new TinyUmrella 5.11.00b. This version was developed specially for 5.1.1 so you can use it for saving blobs.
You need to have SHSH blobs when you want to downgrade your iOS to lower version. So you must have SHSH blobs of that lower version to complete the process.
That is why here I want to show how to do that quick and easy. Just follow my steps below and everything will work.
- TinyUmbrella 5.11.00b [direct links for Mac and Windows here]
- iPhone or iPad compatible with iOS 5.1.1. It means that your device may not run iOS 5.1.1 also your gadget mustn’t be jailbroken
- Mac or PC

How To Save iOS 5.1.1 SHSH blobs
Step 1. Download TinyUmrella 5.11.00b from the direct links above.
Step 2. Install it and Open. Just click .dmg file twice to mount it and take TinyUmbrella from the mounted .dmg to your Applications folder. And now open it.
Step 3. Connect your gadget to the Mac or PC.
Step 4. Find your gadget in the right-hand panel and select it and enter administration login and password.
Step 5. Now go to the Advanced tab and uncheck Set host to Cydia on Exit and Request SHSH fro Cydia. You need to do that because Cydia is not allowed to proxy SHSH request.
Step 6. Now click on Save SHSH on top of the TinyUmbrella screen.
Step 7. Allow it to save the blobs after that proceed to the chosen directory where your blobs were saved. To locate this simply click the Advanced tab then you definitely should observe the directory where your SHSH blobs are saved.
The new entry in Saved SHSH for iPhone list would be mean that saving process completed successfully.
Note: If you want to unlock your iPhone 4S in the future then don’t choose overwrite shsh and request shsh from Cydia. Simply because it will overwrite you baseband ticket. For more info go here.
And that’s it. Now you can easily downgrade your iOS with SHSH blobs saved. Only remember where you saved them to locate them in future.
