Famous Hacker Made Jailbreak iPhone 5 With Cydia Running [Proof]
Yesterday two significant events occurred. Finally iPhone 5 came on sale and few hours ago famous hacker and developer of applications for iOS Grand Paul aka Chpwn informed that he managed to jailbreak iPhone 5.
Thus Chpwn managed to hack the new iPhone, running on iOS 6, the day when device came on sale. This means there is a chance for an early release of jailbreak for iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and other devices on the A5 and A5X running the new iOS 6 and lower.
Currently, jailbreaking can only be done on older devices with an A4 and you can jailbreak iOS 6 tethered right now. About the possibility to hack the firmware using the software tool Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 told MuscleNerd, the developer of the hacker group iPhone Dev Team. This build allows to jailbreak iOS 6 tetherd on iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G and iPhone 3GS.
But this was not the end, and after a while Chpwn posted a screenshot of the Cydia home page. Also it is clear that an alternative app store works fine on the iPhone 5.
No details from Chpwn are not shared, but because he is a respected jailbreak developer, doubts about the authenticity of screenshots should not be. Since Paul Grant successfully using jailbroken iPhone 5 running iOS 6 with Cydia installed, you can count on fast approaching of jailbreak for devices with A5 processor.
Many users are now very interested in the prospect of jailbreak iOS 6 and iPhone 5, but the hackers no information on when you can wait for the untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 6 has not been reported. It turns out that Chpwn was able to jailbreak iPhone 5 and hastened to tell about it in his Twitter.
Also this news makes me think that Chpwn is preparing to launch iOS 6 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 5 and all other Apple devices which support the latest firmware.
So stay tuned with us and you will be the first who can enjoy tethered or even maybe untethered jailbreak on the new iPhone, iPhone 4S and iPad 3.
