Note: The process is easy but after it your iPhone can behave very buggy, so you better wait for official Redsn0w jailbreak for iOS 6 version developed by iPhone Dev team. Also there is no Cydia after jailbreak so you need to use SSH to install Cydia after jailbreaking process.
Jailbreak iOS 6 Tethered on iPhone
Step 1. First thing you need to do is to download Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 and iOS 6 for successful jailbreak:
Download Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4
Download iOS 6 IPSW file
Step 2. Now after you download Redsn0w unzip it and launch it. If you are the Windows user then run Redsn0w as Administrator.
Step 3. After the tool is running you will see two buttons so we need to click Extra => Select IPSW and point to iOS 6 ipsw file which you have just download in Step 1.
Step 4. After that just click Jailbreak in the main Redsn0w window.
Step 5. Now Redsn0w detect your iPhone so click Next.
Step 6. After the process you will have to choose Install SSH, because there is no Cydia in this version.
Step 7. In this step you need to put your iPhone into DFU mode to complete jailbreaking process. You can follow onscreen instructions or follow this guide to enter DFU mode and go on.
Note: Don’t interrupt the process. Stay away from USB cable which you use to connect your iPhone to the computer.
Step 8. Now when Apple logo appears wait till your iPhone reboots but it will be in un-jailbroken state so now you need to run Redsn0w and boot your iPhone tethered.
REMEMBER that it is tethered jailbreak for iOS 6 which means that every time when your iPhone loses power you need to boot it using your computer and USB cord. Connect your iPhone and open Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4. Select Extras Button and click Just Boot, then simply enter DFU mode and follow instructions.
